Turkey Bacon Casserole
- 100g (3.5oz) HORMEL® Real Bacon Bits, Pieces or Crumble
- 454g (16oz) ground turkey
- 454g (16oz) pasteurized prepared cheese product
- 300g (10.5oz) can of cream of chicken soup
- 425g (15oz) can of corn, or 2 cups of frozen corn
- 400g (14oz) can of carrots, or 2 cups of frozen carrots
- 2-3 cups of rice
- 1.Heat oven to 175°C (350°F).
- 2.Cook rice according to package directions.
- 3.In large skillet over medium heat, cook turkey until no longer pink. Always cook to well-done (75°C; 165°F) as measured by a thermometer. Stir turkey into rice.
- 4.Add HORMEL® Real Bacon Bits, Pieces or Crumble, cream of chicken soup, corn and carrots and mix very well.
- 5.Take 1/2 of the cheese product and soften in the microwave then mix in with the above.
- 6.Transfer to a 20cmx20cm (8”x8”) baking dish
- 7.Slice the remaining half of cheese product into slices and place on top.
- 8.Bake 30 minutes or until bubbly.
