Golden Bacon and Blue Pizza
SERVINGS: 4
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 medium sweet onions, sliced (about 4 cups)
- 2 teaspoons Chicken Granulated Bouillon
- 1 30cm (12”) pre-baked pizza shell
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 100g (3.5oz) HORMEL® Real Bacon Bits, Pieces or Crumble
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped toasted walnuts
- 1.In large skillet, melt butter over low heat. Add onions and bouillon; cook, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes or until onions are softened and golden.
- 2.Top pizza shell with mozzarella cheese, onions and HORMEL® Real Bacon Bits, Pieces or Crumble. Sprinkle with blue cheese and walnuts.
- 3.Place grill grate 4 to 5 inches over coals. Prepare grill for direct medium heat.
- 4.Place pizza on grill grate; close grill. Grill 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
