Bacon Stuffed French Toast Waffles

- 8 Slices of bread
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons HORMEL® Real Bacon Bits, Pieces or Crumble
- Waffle Iron
- 1.Plug in waffle iron to heat.
- 2.In a bowl whisk together milk, egg, sugar, and vanilla extract.
- 3.Spray the waffle iron with non-stick spray.
- 4.Dip a slice of bread into the milk mixture. Just enough to coat. Place the bread onto the hot waffle iron. Sprinkle with HORMEL® Real Bacon Bits, Pieces or Crumble.
- 5.Dip a second piece of bread into the milk mixture and place it on top of the first.
- 6.Close the waffle iron and allow it to cook for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
- 7.Serve with syrup.
- 8.Continue with the remaining ingredients to create more waffles.
