Creamy Pasta with Bacon

- 1 (9-ounce) package refrigerated linguine
- 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup whipping cream
- 3/4 cup half-and-half
- 200g (7oz) HORMEL® Real Bacon Bits, Pieces or Crumble
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1.Cook linguine according to package directions. Drain and keep warm.
- 2.Meanwhile, in large skillet, sauté onion in hot oil 5 to 7 minutes or until translucent. Add garlic and cook 1 minute.
- 3.In small bowl, whisk together flour, cream and half-and-half until smooth. Stir into onion mixture. Bring mixture to a boil, whisking constantly. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook 3 to 4 minutes or until thickened.
- 4.Stir in pasta, HORMEL® Real Bacon Bits, Pieces or Crumble and cheese.
